Public Notice

Bell Mobility is proposing to locate a telecommunications tower being 30 metres (98.42 feet) in height, on this property. Public comment is invited and shall be provided to the applicant. The closing date for submission of written comments is December 23, 2025. A public information meeting will be held at Royal Canadian Bedford Legion, 1772 Bedford Highway on December 10, 2025, 6:00pm-7:30pm. While feedback is important to the process, telecommunication tower/antenna facilities are exclusively regulated by Federal legislation under the Radiocommunication Act and administered by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED). The Municipality is provided the opportunity to influence the location and design of proposed antenna systems by commenting to ISED, but does not have the authority to approve or refuse the construction of an antenna system.
